  • Setting TV up with Cable

I have cable TV and have accessed it using my Coby 32' TFTL CDTV for years. This is Model No: TFDVD3295 32' Coby TV with Side Loading DVD player. Now ComCast (INFINITY) has upgraded their boxes to HDMI and sent me my new box and new cable remote. There are only 3 setup codes for Coby TV to access Comcast's HDMI, and they do NOT work. Could you please send me more Setup codes for my Coby TV to access Comcast's HDMI? Hector Lopez 678-362-0999 More...

  • Coby TV

I have been trying to contact customer support at Coby Electronics for months, now the phone number will only direct me to their website and the customer support will not respond to any of my emails. I had a TV that had to be returned because the parts were no longer available for repair. I was then told that the TV would be replaced but they did not have the model in stock, now I cannot even get a response. I not only paid for the TV, I paid for the repair shop to check it and then paid to have it shipped back. any suggestions? More...

  • Coby 55" TV

I purchased my Coby 55" TV at the end of January 2013. On April 16th it wouldn't power up. On April 18th I spoke to a supervisor in the Savannah facility and was told that a new TV would be sent out and to use the box to package my old TV in and return it using the return label. After 9 days my return label arrived but no TV. A waited until the on the 28th of April I called to find out where the new TV was and was informed that a new TV wouldn't actually be sent out until the old one was returned. This is totally not the information told to me on April 18th so I asked to... More...
    (Repair Services)

As with most of the issues reported, I too now have a Coby 32" Flat TV as a fancy paper weight. It's been used for 6 monthsand it no longer turns on by remote or hand- No picture. The light is nice and all, but when we save to spurdge on a TV, it seems cruel to now no longer even have it functioning- it's wrong... 100% cruel & thoughtless. On top of that, who can afford to have it repaired- it's 6 months.... What can COBY do to help myself and others with this issue??? Pease offer a new TV to replace this one, or something-I probably still have access to my... More...

  • Same Defect in Every TV

I purchased a Coby 26" LCD TV at the Veterans Canteen Gift Shop on January 7, 2011. On September 3, 2011, the TV made a "pop" noise, and quit working. I searched on the internet for Coby, and discovered a complaint site where every consumer who has bought a Coby TV has the same defect; a "pop" sound and the TV quits working. Coby makes it nearly impossible to ship the TV back for repairs, asking too much of a consumer, and local TV repair shops cannot fix them either. A TV is a major purchase and should last more than 8 months. The company needs to admit to the... More...
